DOLORES Bopp POTTERTON
Founder and President
Dolores is the founder and president of U4Uganda. Ever since she was a child, Dolores had a calling to go to Africa, a dream that was realized in 2009 when she traveled with her daughter Erin to Alenga, Uganda. While there, the students and teachers of Alenga asked for one thing in particular: desks. Dolores then made it her mission to provide the children of Alenga with desks, to lift them out of the dirt and change everything.
JOHN POTTERTON
Board Member
SHERRY ELLIOTT
Missionary and Board Member
Sherry and her husband, Greg, have been involved with supporting Fr. Stanislas and the people of Alenga since 2009. In 2014 she traveled to Alenga with Dolores, and was moved by the outpouring of love and joy from the people of the village, especially the children, despite the many hardships they faced daily. Visiting the schools, it was clear to her that children wanted desperately to go to school and stay in school - for with an Education there is HOPE.
